Currently, to access a component's Document Settings, we have to first open the file, then go to the Tools tab, and then click the Document Settings button. Most people don't even know these settings exist.
Together, the Document Settings and iProperties make up the fundamental properties of a file, and as such they should be accessible in all of the same places, as shown here:

I can't tell you how many times I've tried going to the File menu to open the Document Settings, or tried to right-click a part from within an Assembly to access its Document Settings so I can change its default BOM structure or "Adaptivity Used in Assembly" setting.
Making the Document Settings accessible from these locations not only makes sense, it would also make accessing them much faster, especially when having to do so for multiple files.
