Make Inventor more responsive

It happens very often, that Inventor is freezing for minutes, even when it is still working on a task.

Also the progress bar is not updated during this time (because the entire process is frozen).

Windows task manager indicates that Inventor is not responding.

However, if we look inside the details tab, we can see that Inventor is still doing some stuff (memory is increasing).

A good example for the described problem is the shrinkwrap command.

Please improve long working tasks so that they are not being executed on the UI-thread and do not block the UI.

To avoid user inputs, all commands (except the Cancel command (ESC) ) should be deactivated as long as a background task is working.
