It is supper annoying that the measure tool copies the units string. Personally I only copy a measurement to paste into a calculator or in to something else requires only a number.
I contacted the Inventor team and they came back that this is actually a bug that affects users on windows 10. So there will hopefully be a fix for this in an update.
I am using Windows 7 and still can't copy the values without que units attached. I personnaly copy and paste in in the Windows Notepad app but it is a serious waste of time and a waste of screen.
If only there was an integrated calculator within Inventor itself!..
@pballIf this is a bug it must be a low priority one considering it's still affecting Inventor 2020.1.1
It really would be nice to just copy the number instead of either retyping it and risking transposing numbers or pasting into notepad and recopying from there.
In inventor 2022 the outcome is: Length {TAB} 100,00 mm
Wanted outcome: 100,00
Please Autodesk could you consider adding an entry in the "advanced settings menu" that gives us the possibility to choose outcome of this copy'n'paste action.
