When creating a multibody part as master, generating components with make components i would like inventor to pass on the hole features and the patterns to the part files.
Also threads etc are important information that might be figured out in the masterpart.
However, today this information are lost when you make the drawing of the parts/assembly.
Now I do Make components and my part files and the assembly are generated. All well.
When I add my bolts to the assembly, inventor does not recognise the hole, its size/threads or anything.
OK, I add the bolt concentric to the hole but it will not recognise the pattern either, which means I'll have to place them one-by-one, or make a pattern manually. Which mean it will not follow the definition in the master.
Also, have you defined your threads or other features, they will not be possible to annotate properly in drawing.
