I would like the ability to easily create an LOD in a Tube & Pipe Run. I can easily suppress items in a T&P run from the assembly top level, and create an LOD there, but for detailing and dimensioning purposes it would be very helpful to create the LOD inside an individual run, and therefore show only portions of a pipe run.
Currently, if I have a complicated pipe run that I want to break up to make it clearer, I have to manually toggle the visibility of parts from the model browser in the drawing. Since most of these are content parts, there may be (for example) a dozen elbows in a pipe run. Finding and toggling the right ones is very time consuming. The ability to use LOD at the Run level would make this so much easier.
In many cases, sections and detail views are sufficient, but occasionally... not. For example: none of these views are clear enough to detail the parts that are hidden behind others. Since this run uses clamps, there are two distinct segments. Using an LOD I could detail each one on a separate page.
