When performing a Modify Assembly operation (extrusion, etc.), welds from sub-assemblies will be included if the operation affects them at creation. The welds will not be listed as participants so it is impossible to remove them afterwards. One must make sure the initial sketch and operation are created so that the welds will not be affected, then modify the sketch after the fact.
Idea: List welds as participants in assembly modification operations so that they can be excluded.
