The following issue occurs when working with Finish parameters:
If the checkbox to export Finish values is enabled, the values are rewritten every time the document is saved — regardless of whether the values have actually changed or not.
This causes a problem when the values have been modified by iLogic rules (for example formatting adjustments or similar changes). These modifications are automatically overwritten again on the next save.
Proposed Solution:
Implement a change-detection mechanism for Finish feature values so that they are only rewritten when an actual modification has occurred.
Alternatively, allow iLogic rules triggered by the “Before Save Document” event to execute after the Finish values have been written, so that custom modifications are not immediately overwritten.
