I am facing some issues while trying to use Inventor within Model Coordination on ACC. Currently, Inventor is not integrated into ACC, which is causing difficulties in utilising the platform effectively.
Could we please consider adding the capability to export .nwc files from Inventor in the roadmap? This would enable us to export .nwc files and align them (using transform) with other georeferenced models in model coordination for clash detection. Alternatively, it would be even better if Inventor could be made georeferenced in the future!
I attempted to open my Inventor model in Navisworks to create an .nwc file and then upload it to ACC. However, it seems that this file format is not supported.
Please can more focus be given to the development and integration of Inventor. It is our most commonly used platform for substation design. While we can currently coordinate models, it would be incredibly beneficial to streamline the coordination process with other platforms.
