When creating a revision table on a drawing, there are two options that determine which way the table will grow when you add a revision.
"Down" (as shown below) creates a table that builds from the top-line downwards:
"Up" (as shown below) creates a table that builds from the bottom-line upwards:
(Note that the Table header location makes no difference to the build direction.)
Whilst these two options appear logical, they do not cater for all drafting requirements - eg. A company have a standard that dictates the revision block at the top of the drawing sheet and builds upwards (so the latest revision is always at the top of the table).
In the case above, after selecting the "Up" style and locating the table at the top of the drawing, new revisions push the top of the table off the edge of the drawing sheet. (Same is true for a "down" style placed at the bottom of the sheet.)
Idea: To add a control for defining the table-build direction such that customer can select precisely the table-style they need and use it without the table moving off the drawing.
