Inventor Basic Surfacing Tools

Hi everyone 

I'm coming from AutoCAD, now i'm using Inventor and I really enjoy it. I don't regret the change, but I don't understand why such a good 3D software like Inventor is missing some basic surfacing tools that autocad have like: Planar, Network and Blend Surface, it is not a big deal, I know there is other ways to accomplish what this tools can do, but have them in hand are very useful. I think that such a good 3D Mechanical CAD like Inventor deserves better and more technical surfacing tools.

My Idea is about I would like to see in a future some of these basic tools integrated in Inventor. If you have better or more suggestion, you're welcome to list them below.

A) Surface Blend
B) Surface Network
C) Surface Planar

This are AutoCAD Basic Surfacing Tools, Inventor should have the same also.

Hi,

I suggest you to take a look to Virtual Shape Research/Autodesk Shape Modeling @ YouTube the Shape Modeling Plug-in for Rhino have better surfacing tools and more advanced surfacing options (Class-A), hopefully one day we will have some of these amazing tools integrated in Inventor.

Why not use Inventor freeform or Fusion?
