Interactive 3D model

Interactive 3D model

When we need an interactive model presentation we have two solutions:

1) We can make a video inside Inventor;

2) We export the Assembly to an other programs like 3D max then to 3D game engine to add interactivity to a parts. For example, the robotic arm rotate up when I press a button.

Why you cannot add a specif module to a program to do this interactivity. Think you.

Well, it all depends on what exactly you mean and what you want to achieve and on the context.

In principle, all of this is possible. From quick constraint animation to control using iLogic.

Hi, in 3D visualization programs we have the ability to move in the scene, testing materials, etc but in Inventor we dedicate environment and the only way to export the visualization is video sequence. If we have the ability to interact with the assembly like an interaction in the games is great. The result is not a video but an executable file.

In my opinion, interaction is not animation. We must have first an assembly, second, we must define constraints between parts then we activate the interaction module, is like 3D engine to have a real time results on the assembly when an event is trigger. For example, the gear spin more or less when the user commanding a rotary bottom.

The idea it's useful for many users who they want advanced presentation for there products.

Think if this idea is combined with AR, VR or hologram, this is crazy.

Sometimes we have many subsystem  in same system, like electric, mechanical, hydraulic, ect. If we want a complete presentation we must have many videos, but with this method we save time and money.

We have an executable and the full system is ready we can hide everything we want in real time and the most thing the execution can protected by password.
