Lately there´s the possibility to exchange the model reference / basis in an IPN. When I use that function, it works with most of the parts.
Parts with the same name/number keep the vector that is already existing. But when there are more or less specific parts in the new assembly, Inventor seems to get confused and I have to check every vector for every part.
I know that there are assembles in which parts with the same name/number do have very different vectors.
But I suggest a preset-option to assign the same (existing) vector to all parts with the same name/number.
Exchanging the basis of an IPN with slightly different assemblies would be so much easier.
