A sketched horizontal line needs to be drawn to dimension this particular 2 degree dimension. Yes, I could use a 98 degree dimension but want to show the 2 degree draft. Side note: It is department policy not to use model dimensions.
Idea: Programmers create an "Angle Dimension" button under "Annotate".
- Select the angled feature line.
- Right-click mouse, select "Angle from" (in this case, I would select the intersection/vertex).
- Right-click mouse, select "Orientation" (in this case, I would select the axis or any other feature that is parallel). It could also be a scroll out for "Horizontal, Vertical or Aligned"
- Place dimension.
This sequence could also be done under the existing "Dimension" button.
