Highlight Round or Cylinder Parts

I have noticed in Inventor 2018 when you hover over a cylinder or basically anything round in an assembly it only highlights the actual edges.  So a barrel only highlights the edges on the very end.  This can make parts very hard to find.  A sphere or ball is actually not highlighted at all.  Previous versions of Inventor highlighted the entire outline rather than just the edges.  I would really like to see this back.

I am not talking about enhanced highlighting.  I do not like that either.

Does it help if you change the selection filter from 'Features' to 'Faces and Edges'?

If you mean to change the "component priority" to select "faces and edges" then the answer is yes and no.  But mostly no.  It does highlight the round part completely, kind of like enhanced highlighting, but I cannot open the assembly or part.  That is not what I am looking for.

I find if you use the Technical Illustration visual style, the whole silhouette is lit up when you select a part. The look is a bit cruder, but at least you can find them!
