Hiding construction lines, or make then unselectable

While sketching I often have to close a loop. Inventor then magically prefers construction lines over
normal lines.

Even if you wait untill the proper arc or lines seems selected, after you click the line you have still selected a construction line.

I would like the option to hide all construction lines or to have the choice to make the construction lines unselectable.

Perhaps Autodesk already has a great solution of which I am unaware, if so, please tell me in the comments.

I voted for this idea. Sometimes I think that more than 90% of all ideas are just bug fixes ...

Anyway, this is how it should be: when I draw in sketch mode I want drawn entities to be selectable first, then construction lines and in the end constraints BUT only if I hover over constraints.

Has anyone tried to select point where two lines meet? It is a nightmare to select it. It always selects constraint for that point.

To make is simple, construction line should be indefinite in length. When drawn line is at the same location with construction line, drawn line should be selected first. If I want to select construction line, I will hoover my mouse over area of construction line which is not obstructed by anything. And finally, constraints should be selected only if mouse is directly over them.

One more thing: Vertical and horizontal constraints should be always horizontal and vertical in sketch view, no matter how coordinate system is oriented. Currently, when I select, for example, vertical constraint, it turns out to be horizontal, an vice versa.

Further reason for this:

So I want to project some splines from an imported 2D dwg onto a curved surface.

Create a sketch on a workplane above the curved surface.

Import an ACAD drawing containing the splines to that sketch.

Close the sketch.

Create new 3D sketch and choose Project To Surface.

Choose wrap to surface in the Output section.

Select the curved surface as the Face and then switch to Curves.

NOW: EVERY SINGLE SPLINE has to be selected INDIVIDUALLY and is covered in spline handles which are construction lines. If you could just switch off the construction lines you could window select the splines. If you cannot do this, it becomes VERY VERY time consuming.

...I would say that this other idea is very much linked to the same issue:
avoid construction lines with the close loop command

Maybe it make sense to consolidate them into one?
