Hidden Line Drawing View Preview Option

Hidden Line Drawing View Preview Option

I'd like the ability to have an option for a "hidden line" preview during drawing view creation vs just being limited to "shaded" or "bounding box"..

This used to be how base view previews were shown in older versions of the program and I found it to be quite useful at times.

I suspect bounding box is the "fastest" option but there are times when seeing edges/corners,etc... of my model is necessary to accurately place the views and on complex drawings I assume that shaded requires more computational time. So hidden line should be the middle of the road as far as performance goes..

mcgyvr,

Can you clarify what you mean by hidden line preview?  Do you want something like looks like the precise view with hidden lines turned on but shading off?  I will talk to our development team about if there is a middle ground but the current implementation of shaded is just taking a snapshot of the assembly graphics and displaying them in the preview so there wouldn't be much time savings in removing the shading from the preview.

Thanks,
Kyle
