Group or re-order tweaks in ipn browser

Creating an exploded view is easy.  Editing tweaks for a complex assembly can be very tedious and time consuming.  It is helpful to rename key tweaks to come back and modify later.

What would be more helpful is to allow the tweaks to be (1) re-ordered in the browser and/or (2) grouped into sub-folders under the 'Tweaks' folder in order to quickly find and modify the right tweak in a large presentation file.

(I am currently trying to convince some older users that it is faster to use the ipn environment than to do what their current practice is:  Saving isometric views of all the parts out to AutoCAD and tracing tweak lines.  So far, I have proved nothing, since these complex assemblies end up taking so long to organize to look correct.  I think the largest time-waster is FINDING the tweak you need to change after-the-fact.)

Hi @Anonymous,

Which version of Inventor are you using?

Hi @PaulMunford, I know this post is a little older, but I use Inventor Professional '17 and would love to group and/or re-order tweaks

Hi @DANIEL.CHASE,

In the browser or in the story board?

In the Storyboard, tweaks are re-ordered by sliding them back and forth. You can hold down SHIFT and select multiple tweaks in the story board to move them at the same time.

It would be nice to have a convenient way to select multiple tweaks for editing (such as re-order or change duration), Shift-selecting can be a bit awkward when you have lots of tweaks to edit.

Hello,

How about reordering the list in which the components appear in the story board just like you can reorder pages in drawings, features in parts or components (not patterns) in assemblies.

This will make finding the components a lot easier which in turn would make the whole process faster.

Judging by the OP i'm pretty sure he meant browser but both would be nice.  I would like browser, kind of surprised this isn't implemented already as it seems to be a fairly intuitive operation.

Reordering in the Browser would be the best solution.
