The environments that come with Inventor are basic. I have been importing HDRI environments from Poly Haven.
These are great but finding a suitable environment to showcase my model prototype can be difficult.
AutoDesk have several architecture modelling programs. It would be amazing if I could build a generic environment (office, home, foyer etc.) within Inventor, AutoCAD, 3DSMax, Revit etc. and save it as an HDRI environment for use in Inventor.
Many of my products are wall mounted. None of the HDRI environments have the focal point in the centre of a wall.
Generating the HDRI environment from a virtual model would give me the flexibility to choose where I want my model (focal point) within that environment.
