Format Options for Sheet Properties

Format Options for Sheet Properties

Hello,

My company want to use the sheet property, "Sheet Number" in our title blocks and sketch symbols. However we want to be able to control how this number is formatted, specifically leading zeros. I have solved this for the title block by writing iLogic to pull the sheet number from the browser and format it into a prompted entry which is fine if a bit clunky.

The real problem shows up because we use a sketched symbol for our standard view labels. We like to include the sheet number in these labels in case the view is snipped in an email or other wise separated from the title block. As of right now there is no way, without manually editing every view label or writing more iLogic, to have the sketch symbol match the sheet number as formatted in the title block.  It would be very convenient to be able to either natively control the format of the built in properties, or pull from the title blocks prompted entries.

A good example of the control I am talking about is how header/footer fields work in AutoCAD or Microsoft Office products.
