Extrude with Offset Functionality

Extrude with Offset Functionality

I just want to ask a simple question. When will Inventor offer the offset functionality, the same way Fusion does now.

I want to extrude between two planes but I don't want my extruded geometry to coincide with those two planes. I want an offset from starting plane and and an offset from the End plane. The extruded solid created should "hover" in between those planes. Pictures attached from Fusion 360 can showcase what I am trying to do. My sketch is not on any of those two planes.

Inventor Community, can we please upvote this. I am pretty sure I not alone.

I was always living under an impression that this functionality is already there. Are You aware of the "between" option which allows You to start extrusion from the plane or surface of an existing object and finish it on an another surface? To get what You like You do create a work-plane with an offset from the plane of Your sketch, "click" between and show that work plane. The in "to" un-click the selection of plane and just type the dimension.  Not one dialog with one entry, but it is there.

Other modeling software has this as well and it's a really helpful feature. Most of the time you can work around it pretty easily, but it's frustrating to add extra ref geometry.
