Although purely cosmetic, and of little technical consequence within the scope of Inventor, since you've already implemented the finishing feature I think you should take it all the way with the "paint" option and include the full range of RAL and NCS colours as options for the colour. From a design perspective, it does give you a better sense of it all in a greater context where aesthetics is a more crucial element of your work.
