It is currently not possible to edit a dimension transferred from a 3D annotation to the drawing without losing the connection to the original dimension. Changes to a dimension transferred from a 3D annotation in the drawing do not lead to a corresponding adjustment in the 3D model. Although the tolerance range can be adjusted within the 3D annotations, the basic dimension cannot. In contrast, dimensions that are inserted into the drawing via sketch elements allow both the dimension and the tolerance to be edited, which is reflected equally in the 3D model and in the drawing.
It would therefore be extremely advantageous if it were possible to edit dimensions, regardless of whether they are inserted as 3D annotations or via sketch elements, without inconsistencies occurring between the original 3D model and the derived drawing.
