Easy content calculation to determine required lubrication oil for gearbox

Would an addition to the e.g. the measurement tool be possible to quickly calculate volumes of assemblies (empty spaces) to determine oil content for e.g. gearbox and such?

Methods to make assemblies "water tight" are very cumbersome and tricky, and do not always work for whatever reason.

Having gearboxes with gears and bearings and seals makes calculations by hand very difficult.

Hope you will give this some thought.

If you are asking for Fluid volume calculation use fusion 360 . Please see the below link on how to use it

@Aadithya01. Tried Fusion, bit direct import from Inventor besides a STEP file or such.
To painstaking to do for large assemblies, unfortunately. Thx anyway for the tip!

So my original question remains for implementation of this function into Inventor 😉

Two options that are good with Fusion 360 Fluid volume calculation are ... Fluid Volume Tool and the Boundary fill tool that works in two different modes within Fusion 360 (parametric and non parametric) .. They are quite intelligent than the sculpt tool in Inventor ... A while ago I had posted for the Boundary fill option in Inventor like Fusion 360 ... Is would be helpful if you could vote there in the below link ...
