The colors for preselection Highlight and selection are set in the document settings. Since neither of these things impact the final drawing product and impacts the individual user (color blind), the setting should be moved Application options. They should be added to the color schemes. If there is a reason from some have this in the document settings the provide an option to have application options override the document settings.
