Dimetric and Trimetric Standard Views

I want the view cube to have dimetric and trimetric standard views. In general, isometric view is not useful enough in both model and drawing environments for me. I always "set the view as home" after adjusting it to an appropriate angle in template files. Again in drawing files, it would be useful to have the ability to select trimetric or dimetric view angles for parts, assemblies or presentations easily.

one year on and no response to this reasoable request... can we get a "we are working on it" or a "It will never happen" please?

More than 3 years and only 26 folks thought this was a good idea.... I guess too few in cad today have the background in old fashioned mechanical drawing that would have taught them the value in visualization  that the trimetric and diametric views afford in understanding a creation....

i dont hold hold out much hope for this simple addition.

I also really can not understand why this type of easy-to-apply wishes need to have many many kudos to be accepted. I think it is really easy to apply and don't think it could brake any other related features of the software. This type of features must be independently added.

Since Invertor Publisher and Showcase dissapeared we are pretty much struggeling with this issue. Making a somewhat decent manual is now time consuming, and at best "just make due". These options should be availble to us. I would settle for a camera setting in the presentation module, that we could use setup to achieve this.

Hmm... yup, I am now also wondering why they can't add this in already. You figure it should be relatively easy to do... but then again, I am finding that Inventor in general is pretty clumsy with menus/options for designing - I am finding that is not necessarily the case with many things in this program. HOPEFULLY, they start doing more than just listen to user requests... I see so many things that should be easy/quick to implement through these forums.

I am in the slow process of recovery from a stroke and I doubt I will be doing any design work in the future with luck someone else will pick up the torch and see these valuable minor features added in the future

I will add my tiny little weight to this request. I used it ALL the time when working with SW. Especially when trying to create 2D manuals, spec sheets, sales material.
