This image shows the underside of a vehicle and the position of the wheels on the front axle and rear motors and the constraints to them.
I need to design it considering the desired configuration and following the international standards to control the offset of the wheels. Wheels should have a negative offset of 5 millimeters on all wheels, considering the direction outwards from the vehicle.
It turns out that Mate and Flush alignments don't always follow the same rule, and for one of the wheels, I need to consider a Mate alignment of 5 mm to show me what in reality is a offset of -5mm.
You're probably confused... What I would suggest is that the software understands the value in the opposite direction. Like that I could configure it in all cases as -5mm (Check image).
Not applicable to this case, but another suggestion would be that the software could change what was considered as part 1 to be subsequently considered as part 2.
All this solved just by pressing a button for each suggested option.
