Although iRules are somewhat easy to code, they don't get as easy to use as an addon which will be a button on the main ribbon. At the company I'm working, the guy that was doing the addons left and it's difficult to change or expand the addons functionality not only because of the VB code, but also because some of the functions are tied to a specific edge number for example.
It would help a lot to have some sort of Developer view of the model where a model could be open and all of it's features could be read and linked when making the program.
Something like this would also help not only in VB environment but also in iLogic so you don't really need to assign names to faces or edges and later look for them. People could get confused when they open the model and have lots of text they can't figure out.
