I have a derived part from a multi body part.
In the multi body part I assign a colour to that body.
When I open the derived part.ipt only the outer surface has the colour in the multi body part and I have to manually change the colour to suit the colour in the multibody part.
When I section or cut open the part as per my attached picture you can see my problem.
The gold is from the multi body part but the internal is the default template part.
When I have hundreds of parts this takes so much time to change the colour to be the same.
