I've run into the case multiple times that I make a change to a part in an assembly, or the assembly itself, in which it really is easier to just start over than continue forward. This usually looks like an .iam with HUNDREDS of constraints and a large portion of those are 'sick'. There is already a proposal to add the functionality to delete sick constraints (I simply use an ilogic rule for this now, so its a nicety to add true functionality) however, once i delete the sick constraints, I am left in pergatory. I'm not really sure what all broke and what is fine. In most of these cases, it would be easier to reconstrain some/many of these parts from the ground up rather than to try and work with the remaining mess of constraints.
I would like to be able to select a group of components and delete the constraints on those specific components all at once.
Perhaps with some optional criteria, maybe i don't want to delete angle constraints or something like that, but even if ti could only delete all of the constraints, if i could specify the objects and remove them that would be ideal.
Thanks for reading!
