Define a Circular Pattern by Arc Length

Define a Circular Pattern by Arc Length

Currently if I want a circular pattern to have a specific spacing you need to calculate the fitted or incremental arc length and then translate that into degrees for the circular pattern feature. This makes it very difficult for someone else to check the model. Additionally if you have a large radius, many decimal places are required for the angle to accurately define the feature.

This is just a math calculation so it should be easier for the software. But this feature would make it much more intuitive to use.

Hi!

You can do that with a rectangular pattern following a curve length.

I found this out late yesterday from Autodesk. I would have never thought to us the rectangular pattern. Not very intuitive.
