I would like to be able to set a default value for a 'promted entry' when creating a sketched symbol. Just like we can in Autocad blocks. We have some standard weldment symbols with tekst and a border around them. Most of the times these value are standard, but somtimes we need to change some values. As how it's now, all prompted entries are blank when inserting them into the IDW. Were we to be able to set a default value per promted entry, this would be a huge time saver while being flexible to change the content afterwards if needed. Default values, will make for a more streamlined set of drawings. And provides a more coherent use between different users, as no two users will use the same tekst, or use of capitals for instance.
So prompts in one 'Sketched Symbol' could be:
Fillet weld a= (default: 2)
Plug weld a= (default: 1)
Groove weld a= (default: 1.5)
Note 1: (default: remove all sharp edges)
Note 2: (default: clean all welds)
Note 3: (default: remove al weldment discoloration)
Note 4: (default: 'blank')
Note 5: (default: 'blank')
After inserting the symbol, note 3, for instance, may be cleared or changed. Or another value set for the fillet weld value.
