From either intersecting surfaces which share an edge, to combined surfaces, the ability to turn these into a sheet metal face. The following is an example, where even if the thicken command is used with the thickness defined as the parameter "Thickness", the part does not become a usable SM part with appropriate bend radii. This can be especially useful when deriving surfaces into child parts.
