Something I regularly do when making drawings is copying dimension properties from one dimension to another by right-clicking on a dimension and selecting 'Copy Properties' and then left-clicking on the dimension I want to copy the properties to. This works well enough for normal dimensions but when I copy properties to an ordinate dimension set, all the dimensions in that set get these properties. I would like to specify which of the dimensions in the set get the copied properties by, for example, holding CTRL when pasting the copied properties.
An example:
When defining the position of a bunch of holes in a sheetmetal part, I tend to use an ordinate dimension set because it takes up less space than regular dimensions. If two holes are in line with each other, I add one dimension to the ordinate dimension set and type '(2x)' in the text box of the dimension to indicate that the dimension is applicable to both holes. It would save me a lot of time if I could copy this text to other dimensions in an ordinate dimension set individually, instead of having to type it all by hand for each occurrence. The same goes for adding tolerances or making dimensions Basic or Reference and so on.
I hope my suggestion makes sense and you can relate to the problem, many thanks!
