Copy/Paste Sketch elements with Basepoint an Orientation

Currently "sketched objects" positioned are "randomly" somewhere "close to the cursor" when pasting.

Would be good to have something like "Copy with Base Point" command as it exists in AutoCAD.

"Copy with Base Point and adjust rotation" would be even better.

@olekie Now Inventor provides two commands to copy & rotate the sketch geometries. Please see the image below. Does it works fine for you?

Hello @Yijiang.Cai

we know the copy and move command in Inventor. It behaved very tricky dependent on the constraint existing between the copied elements. Furthermore, it works only within a sketch.

We want to copy sketch entities between sketches. It takes many mouse clicks to paste the copied entities until they are in the new position and orientation (see attached video). It would be good to simplify this workflow.

I hate the fact that Copy/Paste a drawing in to a new sketch, it use mouse coordenates to locate.
It was waaaay better the older way, when the geometry holds the previous coordinates when pasted in to a new sketch.

Please, fix it!!! At least make a option to control Copy/Paste coordinates.
2 Options.
Older (better) way, it holds previous coordinates or
New (lame) way, it goes to mouse coordinates.
