Content Center and regional settings

When deploying content center across the globe, Filenames become different when the computer regional settings are different.

If the decimal separator is comma or point, then we get different file names.

Wish is to be able to control this setting for file names at least.

Looking at the family table for downloading a member, the file name value should not be generated for each user separately. The reason is that numeric decimal properties may be needed within the file name (like frame dimensions). Now the file name will be different depending on users regional settings and cause duplicates in Vault.

The wish is that the file name is generated just once and stored in Content Center.

This idea has been implemented within Autodesk Inventor 2020. An option to control the "Unit Decimal Marker" is available within the File Name defaults within Tools > Application Options > File tab. "Default", decimal marker defined by operating system, "period" and "comma" are all available options. Special thanks to everyone who cast a vote for it.
