Component Sketch Driven Pattern in Assembly

Component Sketch Driven Pattern in Assembly

In the Pattern Component of an assembly file implement the feature Sketch Pattern Select.

This feature will pattern a component placed into the assembly by a sketch drawn into the assembly or taken from an existing one from a part placed into the assembly.

Great idea and useful feature

At this point you can solve your problem by using an Associative Pattern in the assembly file based on the sketch driven pattern in the part.

@kacper.suchomski thank you for the tip.

The fact is that for me it doesn't works for any part in an assembly.

Sometimes if I Search in Browser for a feature (to use in Associative Pattern) I get the following message: "Selected Object could not be found in the Browser. It may be filtered off."

If you ask about this on the Inventor forum and share sample files, we can take a look at the problem and propose a solution.
