Choose model state when placing a part in an assembly

It would be very convenient and quick if the desired model state could be selected by a dropdown menu in the place part dialog.  This wouldn't work if multiple parts were selected so then the option could be greyed out.  All other times it would increase the workflow.

An alternative is to wait one step and allow the model state to be chose before the LMB places it in the assembly.  This would allow the user to switch model states, inserting multiple of different states, as they are placing the parts.

This could also happen when you place an assembly in an assembly etc.

A Workflow increasing feature SW for example has since years...

I'm not sure if this would 100% meet your needs, but you can click the Options button and select a Model State before placing a part.Place_a_Model_state.png

That's pretty close.  However, given the amount of likes, it's too hidden to be useful.

It would be better if this functionality was moved to the place component dialog as a drop-down instead of being accessed through the options button.

Even better would be to have a way to change states while placing parts so that multiples of different states can be added without having to go through the whole place component process for each size.
