The irritating situation happens when I use finite element function in Inventor PRO 2023. My simulation is with assemblies that contains at least a dozen parts & hardwares.
To be able to run simulation, I must use the automatic contact set function. If I do it, I have to cope with missing contacts by adding some manually.
The problem I have with this requirement is that every time I have to update the model, the system force me to update automatic contact. Each time I update it, there's existing contact that goes missing and missing ones that a created. I find it really annoying because it consumes too much time to validate all the contacts made automatically by the software to cope with manual contact set.
Would it be possible to remove the requirement that's forcing the user to run the automatic contact set?
This would greatly improve the time I have to pass on simulations.
