Having used wiring and cabling within Creo it confused me that the cable/wire properties within Inventor that you populate when creating the pins, connectors, wires etc don't become reportable parameters/properties.
I can't create a new Parts List template just for wiring/cabling and insert the columns with properties I need as there is no way to call those properties up that I have already input when setting up and creating the wires!
I don't want to add property displays line by line within a 'sketch' that is the harness drawing. I want to report them in a Parts List that already lists the Wire ID and length of it- with its From Pin, To Pin and what connectors those pins are part of. But there seems to be no easy way to do that?
