I work with quite complicated models, and despite my quite efficient computer (i9, 64GB RAM, nV3080) when I adjust some dimensions, the computer get's "busy" for a long time.
It would be very nice if you add the option to play the sound notification when the longer operation (longer than a set threshold - say 30s) is over - this way you could do something else in the meantime and get back to modeling just at the right time.
My initial idea was to try to add a script to the Windows, to play a chime sound when the busy cursor is switching back to normal, but this would disable the possibility to work with some other Windows app while waiting - the rebuild process in the Inventor doesn't require much processor power (about 10% max), just the RAM memory, so there's a plenty power to use.
This would save the time to a lot of ppl, I suppose.
