Automatic break lines in cropped views

Automatic break lines in cropped views

It would be nice if the cropped view put break lines in at the edges of the cropped part/view.  As it is now, Inventor just puts straight lines at the edges of the crop that could be mistaken as the edge of the part.  I have to sketch break lines in everytime.

Actually the jagged edge (zigzag) line is a requirement from ISO 128-30, §6 for partial (cropped) views. This to avoid any confusion about edges of parts. As we try to adhere to this standard in Europe it would be very nice if it would be incorporated.

I can imagine an option in the sketch where you can select a cropping line to look like it.

A work around I now employ is to go into the crop sketch and draw a wriggly polyline to replace the straight line of the view cropping. It gives a "neat" result, but officially not according to standards.

As are Symmetry markers and rotation of partial views annotation.

It is also referenced and therefore a part of BS 8888

Does "Accepted" mean it's incorporated into 2024?
