The Autodesk Viewer is a great way to share designs for review or for assemblers to use and you can see each part and isolate it, you can show the properties such as name, finish, and volume, and measure it. But it would be *GREAT* if it could relay more information to the person viewing it. Some things that would REALLY help:
- Show the material of the part in Properties
- Have the ability to click on a hole and see what tap size threaded holes are
- When you highlight or isolate a part, it isolates Solid1 below the actual part number, not the part itself. When you highlight something and click on Properties it only shows the name of the part that Solid1 is found under.
You have to open the Model Tree then find and select the part number above Solid1 in order to see the actual part properties.
When we select a part it should be showing us the property of the part, not Solid1 that the part is made of. Having to locate the part in the Model Tree, select it and then click on Properties is a lot of erroneous steps we should not have to do.
