Currently if the text inside a text box changes the text box remains the same size, this behaviour is only useful for text in a confined place.
I propose an option to automatically/dynamically resize the text box based on it's contents. This behaviour would be useful for generating parametric plaques, which can update length/height when text varies. The option could be enabled via a tick box.
Currently the only way of achieving this I can think of is making note of the size of each character for a desired font, parsing the text through an iLogic function which counts the occurrences of each character, then working out the text box size required to fit all characters in the text. This is long winded and wouldn't work smoothly with variations in fonts, text size or multiple lines.
Inventor is already capable of generating this information, as when text is first added to a sketch the text box is set to perfectly fit the text.
