Has Autodesk ever though about making an Architectural addon or version of Inventor? It seems like it would be easy to do. I am currently using the 3rd party Woodwork for Inventor addon and while it is quite good, I feel like a lot of this could be baked into the program itself.
Right now there isn't even an architectural drawing style. It would be nice to have the normal architectural symbols and to be able to make drawings that look like inventor. I find that Inventor is very lacking when it comes to architectural styles.
I also don't think it would take much to add some functions like walls, windows, etc. Maybe a architectural design center would even help.
Autocad has electrical, mechanical, architectural, etc... Why not do something similar with Inventor? I think it would be a great way to sell more software and get more users into Inventor.
