API for Content Center is needed

Gents,

we are having hundreds of existing CC-parts that are used in thousands of assemblies. The CC changes a couple of times over the last years and also we did customization of the tables a couple of times including changing the file name from wired local.DIN.xyz or local.ISO.xyz to a standards association conform naming like

ISO 4014 - M12 x 80 - 8.8 oil

Here you see one of the problems we (Enginners/IT-Admins) have...

Pitch in regular size is not needed but I have to use because otherwise the CC won't find the parameters in the xls table 😞 I love Ecxel...

So at first we need to differentiate between regular thread and fine thread. Then we need a property "surface protection" as well as "strength class"

Surface protection can be oil, Zn12/Cn/T0 or various other i.e. galvanically surface plated options

The other issue is that every Inventor Assembly has a BoM and that BoM is also available in ERP. Means I need to maintain a Material Master number in CC to identify the part (document) on the one hand and on the other hand the Material Master information....

And here is the API the only one solution. I'd like to sync/identify Information from iProperties into Material Master. But when the MaterialMaster allready exists I need the API to find the correct family member and to push the Material Master# into iProperties...
