As it operates now, Inventor requires the user to zoom extents in order to be able to mouse click the edge of the desired work plane for split operations. This needs to be improved to where the user can just mouse click anywhere in the view window that the desired plane is visible, and presto, Inventor automatically knows which work plane to use for the split operation. Huge time saver. Please implement at next software release.
