In Autodesk Inventor, when creating a Component Pattern in an assembly, it is not possible to remove a specific component that was mistakenly included in the pattern definition. The only current options are to suppress/exclude an occurrence (which does not fully remove it from the pattern) or to recreate the pattern from scratch, which can be time-consuming and may affect constraints.
It would be very useful to have the ability to deselect or remove specific components directly from the Component Pattern definition, similar to how we can exclude instances in a feature pattern.
This improvement would save time, reduce errors, and make patterns much more flexible when working with complex assemblies.
