Allow custom text in sketch dimensions
In SOLIDWORKS it is possible to add prefix/suffix text to sketch dimensions. This is useful for documenting design intent directly in the sketch, such as "bearing clearance", "reference dimension", or "do not modify".
Inventor currently requires separate Sketch Text objects, which become disconnected from the dimension and make sketches harder to maintain.
Request: allow optional prefix and suffix text on sketch dimensions while preserving the parameter value and associativity.
Possibility to add plain text in a dimension in a sketch
It would be nice if you could add plain text in a dimension. For example between (asda sada) after the value. This text is than visible in the sketch. NOT as a parameter but just add plain text to the value.
This way you can clarify why a dimension has a certain value which can give yourself and other who open the sketch the information why some values are chosen.
Pleas also have a look at SolidWorks on this matter, they have this possibility.
