Adding custom BOM filter.

Please add an option to add a new custom filter in the "Define Filter Item" section in the Filter Settings dialog box in the Parts List editor. The selection options should be any standard Field and any custom fields generated in the iPart.

Correction, this should read as "Adding custom PARTS LIST" filter.

Correct. Only 5 predefined filters are available.

-Ballooned Items Only.

-Item Number Range.

-Purchased Items.

-Standard Content.

-View Representation:  This filter can get extremely tedious to isolate a particular type of part across multiple sub-assemblies.

Hola, disculpa la tardanza de respuesta he tenido unos días de fiesta. Sobre los campos de "PART LIST", es posible personalizar las listas. ¿Conoces como poner los campos personalizados?

Again, there are only 5 filter Fields available, and I am asking for an option to add a new custom filter in the "Define Filter Item" pull down list. I have custom columns in the Parts List that are associated with the parts and i would like to filter with this and standard available properties.

Ok, mañana te mando un video donde se puede ver como agregar campos personalizados. ME PUEDES DECIR UN EJEMPLO DE PARAMETRO PERSONALIZADO QUE NECESITES?

There is a "Manufacturer" field in the Parts list, in the screen shot above. This is a custom field.

There is also a "CATEGORY" field in the Parts List as well. This is a standard field in inventor.

Neither show up as filter.

Adjunto el video donde puedes ver como poner los parámetros personalizados. Ten en cuenta las siguientes instrucciones.

1. Selecciona en propiedades las casillas
2. Ves ha iPropertis para llamar las propiedades, pero sobre todo pon el nombre igual, sin errores.
3. Después fíjate bien como las inserto.
4. Avísame si no puedes ver el video

Cualquier cosa estoy por el foro, escríbeme. Si esto te sirve por favor selecciona solución y dale, para que los demás lo puedan ver. Espero que sea lo que pides.

YES, User need a BOM / Partlist Filter inside IDW or IAM!
