Add thread callout to the Measure tool

We use holes a LOT, and if we need to remember what a particular hole is tapped with (i.e. 1/4-20), measuring the hole itself is of no use, because Inventor uses the Tap-Drill diameter from its spreadsheet.  Unless you have the tap-drill diameters commited to memory, it doesn't do a lot of good to measure that.

My idea is to somehow have a way to measure the threading on a hole, rather than dig down to the assembly/part find the particular hole you're looking for, edit it and check what threading you have it at.

Could this be added to the measure tool?  Distance, Angle, Loop, Area... Threading?

Just a thought...would save a lot of digging.

Would it help if you turned on extended information? Tools > Application Options > Part > 'Display extended information after feature node in browser'

This works for parts, but not for weldments (machining) which we use most often.  Still have to go digging.  Thanks for the input.

I wanted to know if it's possible to add a feature in sheet metal when on flat pattern when the lines of bending are shown, i want a cut (triangle or circle to choose) on the edge of the line, in order to make it easy for the manufacturing process, now its done manually.
